This guided adventure for The Legacy of Cthulhu was designed to serve as an example to players new to narrative games on how to start telling their own stories. 7 Days Till Cthulhu presents a simple tale that happens during Cthulhu's rise in a seven-day structure similar to the premise of Infaernum. 

As you play, we highly encourage you to reference the core book to add your own touch to your adventure, picking events, adding checks, choosing items, or other elements that might fit your tastes. It is your story, after all. The use of Before the End is also recommended.

In a city surrounded by mystery and occultism, where shadows hide ancient secrets and unknown whispers echo through the streets, a sinister threat rises from the depths of human unconsciousness.

In Seven Days Till Cthulhu, the players will roleplay characters united by forces beyond their comprehension while an ancient and unspeakable entity starts to manifest the first signs of his arrival. From disturbing dreams to illogical supernatural phenomena, Arkham becomes the epicenter of an imminent catastrophe that threatens to consume the entire civilization.

Guided by survival instinct and eagerness to unveil the mysteries that envelop their existences, the characters will venture on an anguishing seven-day journey that precedes the arrival of the one who sleeps in the cosmic oceans’ unfathomable depths. As chaos spreads, despicable creatures rise, and darkness looms on the horizon, the Survivors must stand against the advancing forces of evil by gathering allies, protecting the innocent, and uncovering occult secrets. All of this before their minds get shattered and corrupted.

On the seventh and last day, when Cthulhu finally awakes from his millennial slumber, Arkham is pushed to the edge of an abyss of destruction. The characters must fight the ultimate terror, forced to face absolute evil and the inevitability of destiny.

This fight may be already lost, but hope, despite being fragile, keeps shining, flickering in the darkness that consumes the world.
